1. ACADEMIC PROGRAM:
Integrated Syllabus:
We cover the syllabus in a unique way by integrating the concepts from all the three syllabi SSC + CBSE + ICSE in a logical order without repetition.

Research oriented teaching:
It is done in the following stages:

A micro level planning for teaching a particular topic is done by identifying
The prerequisites (basics and fundamentals of the topic)
The concepts to be mastered

| Stage-2: |
The teaching of the prerequisites, main concepts and the linked sub-topics is done from the prescribed text books with more illustrations and examples. |
| Stage-3: |
The objective of mastering the concepts is achieved by making the students to solve problems on each concept from level-1 to level-5 which include the questions from previous competitive exams and various other international reference books. |
| Stage-4: |
At the end of the topic, students are made to solve the cummulative assignments which consist of problems based on multiple concepts. |

| 1 + 2 system: |
For Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry every main faculty has a team of two associate faculties. Main faculty with the help of his two associate faculty will individually nurture the students. They build a strong foundation of these subjects for their bright competitive future. |
| Sub groups: |
In every class, the students are divided into five sub groups namely E1, E2, E3, E4 and E5 based on their performance in the series of tests conducted on fundamentals in the beginning of academic year. Each sub group is headed by the respective subject associate faculty who will microscopically cater to the academic needs of the students by following the idea of step up and step down. |

Teacher student ratio:
According to International standards of education the teacher – student ratio should be 1 : 14. At Narayana IIT Olympiad Programme. At any point of time there would be 5 teachers attending a class [1 Main Teacher with 4 associate teammates] which makes the teacher, student ratio as 1 : 10.
Academic Workshop:
Our basic success formula is 1+1 system of academics i.e every teaching period is followed by a working period. Every class is subdivided into 5 sub – groups and each teacher guides his sub – group. In this way the LUMRA (Cycle) of learning gets completed within the class itself. This is the secret of stressfree learning.
Knowledge Pool:
A student of Narayana IIT Olympiad Programme receives the following material. International class five volumes of Basic Books called Euclids, Newtons, Daltons, C.D.F Books (Concept, Definitions, Formulae), Day wise Micro – Schedules and worksheets of all subjects every month. Mental ability, Speed Maths, and Quantitative aptitude modules. Grand tests packages, Simple Holiday Package Booklets – for review of the subject in the holidays. Monthly news letter to release the creative fountain.
Testing Pattern:
Every Saturday, a test is conducted for 30 min on concepts, definitions and formulae in MPC. This program ensures mastery of fundamentals, which helps the child enjoy listening to the teaching class. Every Monday, a test in conducted in MPC. All tests are answered on the OMR sheets and computer correction done.
Marks Analysis:
Weekly computer generated marks and state wide ranks are given subject wise and totals wise. This helps the student understand his strong and weak areas.
Rectification- Error's List:
An error's list – is the list of error's made by a student given individually for every student and a period is allotted for the practice of the error's made.
Counseling:
The Counseling team consists of the Principal, the vice – Principal and the respective subject main faculty.
2. EDUTAINMENT:
Smart Class Programme:
Each class room is equipped with an Over Head LCD projector. Most of the conventional teaching classes are supported by audio– visual teaching for better and clearer conceptual understanding.
Mind space increasing program:
Special orientation is given on.......
Speed mathematics (Vedic Mathematics).
Quantitative aptitude and numerical ability.
Mathematics Olympiad.
Mental Ability.
Projects:
Projects play a very important role as they inculcate scientific temper, competitive spirit and a zeal to learn and excel among the students. Projects develop coordination ability and team spirit in work.
Video Conference:
The pioneers in A.P to introduce the video conference facility. Students of various branches all over the state interact with each other and share ideas.
Laboratory:
The science labs facilitate practical learning. The lab activities are integrated in the day to day teaching schedule.
Library:
Each classroom is stacked with cupboards, full of books both textual and reference.
Global Updates:
Every Narayana IIT Olympiad Programme has a sophisticated Computer lab. Apart from the regular Computer education, the children are made to browse various web-sites on the chapter taught to update and understand the latest innovations and developments in science and technology at global level.
Activity Based Learning:
Activity Based learning is the latest trend with international academic circles. As an initiative in this direction Olympiad programme is equipped with Quiz, Group Discussion, Mind-Mapping, Quiz on Applying Thought, Data Sufficiency, Mental Ability, Logical Reasoning, Folding and Unfolding of Concepts.
3. AMBIENCE AND OTHERS:
Air conditioned Class Rooms:
Each Class room is fitted with four air – Conditioners. These are not for luxury but to enhance the efficiency of the working level of the student.
Relaxation Techniques:
In order to cope with the lengthy academic activities, students are trained relaxation techniques through yoga and meditation. Three periods per week are allotted for each class.
Open House:
The parent teacher meeting is a regular phenomena with special emphasis on individual interaction. |
